Bike Ride
My strained left foot has made it painful and foolish to go on walking expeditions longer than a block or two. Biking however doesn't use those muscles so I'm good to roll. Andrew and I took a bike trip around Bald Hill. Corvallis is a great place to bicycle. When I was huffing and puffing up and down the gravel paths behind Bald Hill, Andrew kept telling me to take it easy. At the bottom of one hill, he said, "see that wasn't so bad." What my darling husband to be didn't realize is that am so uncomfortable with riding on gravel that I was likely to crash from fear-of-crashing. Hence the white knuckled huffing and puffing. You can stay up better if you're going a bit quicker.
