Picking Strawberries With Nicole

As you may remember, one of the first blog entries I ever made on this blog was "Strawberry Picking" in July of 2010. It contains some very similar pictures of Nicole and me. This time we're at a place called Peoria Farm Market. We were lured there by a coupon for a free tomato plant. Then the strawberries enticed us to stay.

Official Job Offer

So guess what? I bet you guessed from the title. I go a job! I will be working for the city of Salem this summer and I start on Monday. I'm excited and in shock. A couple weeks ago I interviewed for two separate positions; one with the Forest Service, one with this the city of Salem. To my surprise and delight, I got offered both of them. 

So I start on Monday, and yes, it's a job in my field. Really happy about that.
